ImageAnalyzer is a utility for calculating some of the material model constants from an optical image of a material. Groups of pixels in the image that satisfy user-specified criteria are interpreted to be objects (particles, grains, voids, etc.). Associated with each object are the folllowing quantities: area, centroid, first nearest neighbor distance, major axis length, minor axis length, and orientation. Material properties are derived from these quantities, including: particle size (dn), particle volume (or area) fraction (fn), coalescence factor (cd1), grain size or dendrite cell size (DCS), initial void volume (or area) fraction.
